As an Ophthalmology Assistant, you'll help patients protect and improve their vision while supporting specialized ophthalmology providers in a fast-paced and rewarding clinical environment.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Assist ophthalmology providers with patient care and examinations
Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and specialty procedures
Perform ophthalmology-specific testing and screening procedures
Document patient information accurately
Support patient scheduling and follow-up care
Maintain examination rooms and clinical equipment
Monitor supply inventories and expiration dates
Assist with patient education and care coordination
Support quality and compliance initiatives
Promote exceptional patient experiences

Preferred Qualities
Ophthalmology experience
Medical Assistant certification
Experience with specialty care clinics
