Find Your Golden Opportunity at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare
At Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, we are committed to providing exceptional specialty care close to home. We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Podiatry Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing specialty services team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care while working alongside an experienced podiatrist and multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve the health, mobility, and quality of life of our patients.
Whether you bring previous podiatry experience or a strong clinical foundation and a desire to specialize, we invite you to explore this unique opportunity.
What You'll Do
As a Podiatry Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients experiencing conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. Working collaboratively with the podiatrist and healthcare team, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage both acute and chronic conditions while developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
You will perform comprehensive health assessments, obtain detailed medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and coordinate appropriate diagnostic testing. You will order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic evaluations necessary to support clinical decision-making and patient care.
You will prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments within the scope of your licensure and clinical privileges while providing education and guidance that promotes patient understanding, wellness, and treatment compliance.
This role supports patients with a wide variety of podiatric conditions, including routine foot care, chronic disease-related foot complications, wound and lower-extremity concerns, musculoskeletal conditions, and preventative foot health services. You will also support procedural and surgical care through pre-treatment evaluations, post-procedure follow-up, and ongoing management of patient outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with podiatrists, primary care providers, specialty physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation services, and ancillary departments to ensure seamless continuity of care and positive patient experiences.
In addition, you will maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record while supporting quality improvement initiatives, professional development activities, compliance requirements, and organizational goals.
What You'll Bring
You are a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
You possess strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills and can effectively manage patients across a variety of clinical settings.
You are committed to evidence-based practice, collaborative care, and developing strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy educating patients about treatment options, preventative care, and long-term health management.
You are adaptable, self-motivated, and committed to continued learning and professional growth.
Podiatry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong clinical background and interest in developing expertise in foot and ankle health are encouraged to apply.
What Success Looks Like
You provide exceptional patient care that promotes improved health, mobility, function, and quality of life.
You develop effective treatment plans and coordinate care that supports positive outcomes and patient satisfaction.
You maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
You collaborate effectively with physicians, providers, and care teams to ensure seamless patient experiences and continuity of care.
You actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities that support clinical excellence.
You consistently demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and GVMH's Behaviors of Excellence.
