• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
• The Staff Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her and to direct others in patient care in the Cath Lab, Cardiology diagnostic areas, and may be assigned to assist in cardiac rehabilitation. This position requires on call with 45 minute response time.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional/Educational
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois license with biennial renewal.
• Completion of cardiac arrhythmia recognition course.
• Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• ACLS Certification.
• Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology experience required.
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
• Personal
• Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
• Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
• Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
