• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
• The Staff Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her and to direct others in patient care in the Cath Lab, Interventional Prep and Recovery, Cardio Diagnostic areas, and may be assigned to assist in Cardiac Rehabilitation. This position requires on-call rotation with 45 minute response time.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional/Educational
• Current RN Illinois license.
• Completion of cardiac arrhythmia recognition course.
• Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Two years of critical care experience preferred.
• Cath Lab/IR experienced preferred
• Completion of a critical care course.
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
• Personal
• Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
• Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
• Possesses the ability to work under pressure and critically think.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
