As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you'll provide critical pre-hospital care while serving as an essential member of the emergency response team dedicated to helping patients during some of their most challenging moments.
What You'll Do
As an EMT, you'll deliver safe, compassionate emergency medical care while supporting emergency response and patient transport operations.
In this role, you will:
Assess and provide basic life support care to patients
Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
Safely transport patients to appropriate healthcare facilities
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes
Communicate effectively with dispatch, providers, and receiving facilities
Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes
Operate and inspect emergency response vehicles and equipment
Participate in emergency response and Code Blue activities
Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards
Support quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Current EMT certification
Current BLS certification
Valid driver's license as required
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Commitment to high-quality patient care

Previous EMS experience

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, move, and transport patients
Ability to work in varied environments and weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift frequently
Ability to respond rapidly during emergencies
Education, Certifications & Licensure
Current EMT certification
Current BLS certification
Additional EMS certifications as required by position
Ongoing competency validation and continuing education
