Are you a skilled ultrasound professional looking to make a meaningful impact through exceptional patient care? UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Brownwood Freestanding ED is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team!
Working under the direction of the Supervisor and in collaboration with the radiologist, the Ultrasound Technologist performs routine, emergent, and specialized sonographic examinations while providing compassionate patient care and exercising professional judgment throughout each procedure.
Schedule is:
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
No Call
Very competitive shift differential.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
• Perform routine, emergent, and specialized ultrasound examinations
• Provide quality patient care throughout procedures
• Work closely with radiologists and the ultrasound team
• Exercise professional judgment and technical expertise in the performance of examinations
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications
Education
• Post-high-school specialized training
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology

Licensure/Certification/Registration
• ARDMS certification
• Vascular certification within 6 months, either:
• RVT through ARDMS, or RVS through CCI • BLS certification

Additional Requirements
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
