Job description
The Cancer Center in the Outpatient Chemotherapy Department is seeking an Oncology staff RN who likes to work in a fast-paced, high-stress atmosphere. The individual will be responsible for the following duties, but they are not limited to: computer charting, administering and teaching patients and their families' chemotherapy, lab draws from implanted lines, therapeutic phlebotomy, IV Iron, IVIG, IV Fluids and various IV meds and infusions. The RN will need to have good assessment skills, a strong ability to multitask and manage time. This position requires at least one year of nursing experience. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. Work hours are 0800–1630 hrs. Tues-Friday. The candidate selected for this position will be required to attend a hospital-wide orientation as well as a department-focused orientation upon hire.
