Job description

We are seeking highly skilled, motivated, and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our 20-bed Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit (CCU). CCU is a specialized, high-acuity environment caring for complex cardiovascular patients, including post-operative cardiothoracic surgery cases (CABG, valve replacements/repairs, and vascular surgeries), patients requiring mechanical circulatory support such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), VA ECMO, VV ECMO, Impella devices, and LVADs, as well as those experiencing cardiogenic shock or recuvering from an acute myocardial infarction. Nurses in this unit provide advanced, comprehensive care involving ventilator management, titration of vasoactive drips, titration of sedative infusions, and monitoring of arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheters, cardiac output systems, pacemakers, and other invasive devices while demonstrating strong critical thinking. With a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, nurses are supported in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to develop coordinated plans of care. This position includes a structured 16-week orientation program with an experienced preceptor and ongoing professional development opportunities. ACLS certification is required or must be obtained, with free training provided through our Training and Development Center. Qualified candidates include Registered Nurses with at least one year of Critical Care experience or graduates of a nursing program that includes a Critical Care rotation, who are committed to excellence in patient care and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented critical care setting.
