• POSITION SUMMARY
• In collaboration with physician(s), demonstrates and provides professional nursing care to specialty patients requiring an advanced level of knowledge and management of their nursing care.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of post master’s certificate program for nurse practitioner
• Minimum Experience
• 1 year of clinical experience and expertise in womens health nursing
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the state of Alabama
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• ACLS within 1 year of hire
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 90 days of hire
• Preferred Education
• N/A
• Preferred Experience
• At least 3 years of advance practice experience in acute care Obstetrics as an NP
• 5 years RN experience in Labor and Delivery
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification
• EFM- electronic fetal monitoring certification
