• POSITION SUMMARY
• The Radiology Nursing Supervisor supports the Radiology Manager in overseeing the operations of the Interventional Radiology (IR) division, with shared accountability for achieving departmental and organizational goals. This role is instrumental in fostering a cohesive, high-performing team and promoting a culture rooted in safety, excellence, and accountability.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Minimum Experience
• 3-5 years of acute care experience and a preferable previous leadership role
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• Alabama Board of Nursing License
• BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
• ACLS required within 90 days of DOH/transfer
• NIHSS w/in 90 days of hire/transfer (EAH to assist with certification completion)
• PALS within 12 months of DOH/Transfer
• Preferred Education
• BSN
• Preferred Experience
• Previous charge nurse experience, 50FTF
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification
• Specialty certification—ex. CCRN, PCCN, ONS, BCEN, CDN
• Other Requirements
