Job description
• POSITION SUMMARY
• Provides support in the achievement of organization wide strategic goals. Achieves gain sharing targets. Follows EAMC standards of behavior for leadership. Achieves technical and/or operational competencies in functional area. Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals. Oversight of hospital operations and departmental responsibilities.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Associates degree in Nursing
• Minimum Experience
• Previous leadership role at the bedside
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• BLS obtained within 90 days of hire
• ACLS within 12 months of DOH/ Transfer
• Registered Nursing License
• NIHSS w/in 90 days of hire/transfer (EAH to assist with certification completion)
• Preferred Education
• Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Preferred Experience
• Managerial experience in acute care.
• 5 years critical care experience.
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification
• Certification through ANCC, AACN or other specialty
• Other Requirements
