Management of patients pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively under the supervision of staff anesthesiologists.
Responsibilities
• Performs a complete health history, preanesthetic assessment and anesthetic care plan for each patient.
• Implement an anesthetic care plan
• Communication Information
• Participate in teaching and learning
• Demonstrate professional accountability
• Documentation on Anesthesia Operative Record

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: A minimum of a Master’s degree in advanced nursing practice is required
Credentialing : Must meet requirements set forth by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as an Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable
Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position: https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
