Overview
A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.
Qualifications
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be graduates of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Less than one year or more of Medical Assistant experience

Skills
• OB/ GYN experience preferred
• Lab drawing skills preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of ambulatory healthcare or related healthcare fields
• Skilled in conflict resolution
• Ability to use computers

Licensure/Certifications
• Must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
