Echocardiographer - Vascular Technologist

Overview
This position is located at:
3901 University BLVD S, Suite 221, Jacksonville, FL 32216
Performs vascular and cardiac ultrasound exams on All Age Groups
Must be familiar with all aspects of echocardiography and vascular sonography.
Reports on preliminary findings and critical results.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Vocational Training Specific Coursework: Cardiovascular Sonography Program
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science

Required Licensure/Certification:
Within one (1) year of hire or transfer must have one (1) of the following certifications:
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT): Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

P referred Licensure/Certification: Registered in Echo and Vascular Required Experience:
1-2 years' experience in hospital, clinic, or physician office
Necessary Skills:
1.Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality
• Serves as a resource for other departments
• Serves as a role model for all personnel in department.
• Interacts with families, patients, physicians Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
