Job Title: Locum Interventional Cardiologist
Join a dynamic team at a well-respected hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, where you can make a significant impact in patient care as a locum Interventional Cardiologist. This facility offers a collaborative environment and is looking to enhance its coverage with additional skilled professionals. The practice mainly focuses on inpatient care and provides support from fellow cardiologists during your shift.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient coverage and respond to all cardiology calls.
• Conduct general cardiology consults as needed.
• Perform necessary procedures including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms.
• Read and interpret diagnostic studies such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests.
• Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:
• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active Kentucky medical license and DEA registration.
• ACLS certification.
• Availability for 3-7 days per month, including weekends and on-call shifts.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
