Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends

As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) , you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their behavioral health treatment journey. How You'll Contribute
A Behavioral Health Technician who excels in this role:
• Provides direct patient care and support under the direction of the clinical treatment team.
• Assists with implementing individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Conducts and supports psychoeducational groups, life-skills training, and recreational activities.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment through continuous patient observation and monitoring.
• Documents patient behaviors and reports significant changes to nursing staff.
• Supports patients with daily routine activities and treatment participation.
• Assists with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Education
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Certifications
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Experience
• One (1) year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting preferred.
• Experience working with psychiatric, dual-diagnosis, chemical dependency, or geriatric patients preferred.
