Job description

The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS) / Attending Otolaryngologist. The successful candidate will:
• Coordinate Resident and Medical Students in the field Otolanyngology and sub-specialties.
• Serve on Institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair.
• Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee.
• Attend required Departmental conferences.
• Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation.
• Assist with department Q&A programs.
• Develop a hospital-based practice.
• Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals.
• Provide attending coverage for Adult and Pediatric consultations.
• Coordinating Residence and Medical students in the field Otolanyngology and sub-specialties.

• Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee.
• Attend required Departmental conferences.
• Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation.
• Assist with department Q&A programs.
• Develop Hospital base practice.
• Participate with other department Physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals.
• Attending coverage for Adult and Pediatric consultations.

Required Qualifications
• MD Degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of an ACGME-approved Residency Program.
• New York State Medical Licensure.
• Board Certified Otolaryngologist.
