Job description

• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
• Supervises and coordinates the activities of staff operating within the department with regard to Revenue Cycle functions within the scope of Patient Financial Services (PFS). Ensures efficient and proper processes for the billing, collections, cash application and customer service functions through the revenue cycle. Collaborates with the PFS Manager and Director of Revenue Cycle to implement management objectives.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional/Educational
• Associates degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in healthcare billing and/or collections required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word and medical billing software.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pre-certification process.
• Knowledge of patient financial services processes.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Personal
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
• Effective problem solving.
• Detail oriented with a focus on excellent customer service.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Self motivated.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
