Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Scheduler to join our Hospital Scheduling Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
• Status: Full Time
• Work Shift: Days
• Hours: 8:00a.m- 4:30p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: Hospital Scheduling coordinates and provides appointments for all our patients and offices with the least amount of conflict for all involved. To provide information for both physicians and patients in a most helpful and courteous manner.
As a Scheduler, you will be:
• Answering calls from physician’s offices and patients.
• Scheduling surgeries, procedures, radiology examinations, respiratory examinations, and pre-operative teaching patients.
• Demonstrating good communication skills, answering the phone/questions with a pleasant, tactful attitude, and assisting all callers in their requests, whether it pertains to scheduling or not.
• Providing efficient follow-up for physician orders, alerting office members and/or physicians of missing information and providing support on the phone and through facsimile communication.
• Communicating scheduling information to OR/OP, ancillary departments, and physicians via verbal and written communication, accurately preparing and distributing daily schedule and the transference of information to the scheduling program.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 year of customer service/scheduling
Skills: Organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
