Job description
The Cancer Center in the Outpatient Chemotherapy Department is seeking an experienced RN (Oncology experience preferred) who likes to work in a fast-paced, high-stress atmosphere. The individual will be responsible for the following duties, but they are not limited to: computer charting, administering and teaching patients and their families' chemotherapy, lab draws from implanted lines, therapeutic phlebotomy, IV iron, IVIG, IV Fluids and various IV meds and infusions. The RN will need to have good assessment skills, a strong ability to multitask and manage time. This position requires one year of Oncology/Med Surg/Critical Care experience. The individual needs to be flexible with the hours, from 0800 till 1630, rotating weekends and holiday call. The candidate selected for this position will attend a hospital-wide orientation, if required, as well as a department-focused orientation upon hire. If this interests you, please apply here.
