Job Summary: The RN Manager of Family Birth Suites is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and clinical activities of the Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby/Postpartum, and Family Birth units. This position ensures high-quality, safe, and compassionate care for mothers, newborns, and families throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The RN Manager provides leadership and supervision to nursing staff, coordinates staffing and scheduling, manages departmental budgets and resources, and ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced certifications in maternal-newborn nursing preferred, such as: Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB), Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN), Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification. Previous maternal-child or labor and delivery nursing experience. Previous nursing leadership or management experience preferred.
