Description
Job Summary: Cares for patients in the Endoscopy setting performing various skills and tasks. Provides appropriate pre-, intra- and post-procedure care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Assists the physician while performing endoscopic procedures, including obtaining tissue biopsies. Maintains endoscopes and all accessories in working order and provides preventive maintenance.
Job Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent. CNA license in Kansas, CPR/BLS certification, previous acute care experience, and word processing skills preferred.
