Job Position : Medical Surgical Charge Nurse

Your Role as Charge Nurse:
• Team Collaboration : Cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere among staff, adhering to a strict policy of mutual respect and encouragement.
• Shift Management : Complete the assignment form and schedule break times for each shift.
• Physician Assistance : Provide support to physicians during rounds.
• Staff Orientation : Assist in the orientation of new staff and agency personnel, ensuring they are well-versed in unit policies and requirements.
• Leadership by Example : Support your team by leading through action—assist patients with personal needs and performing tasks alongside your team.
• Productivity Oversight : Monitor team productivity, address any issues promptly, and ensure immediate corrective actions.
• Patient and Family Relations : Address patient complaints and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions.
