Schwab Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic Full-Time Outpatient Therapy Rehab Aide to join our highly skilled and collaborative rehabilitation team. Our team enjoys working in an innovative and supportive environment that includes: seven spacious treatment gyms, multiple private treatment rooms, warm-water therapeutic pool, an award-winning rooftop therapeutic garden, advanced rehabilitation technology and equipment and a team including several bilingual therapists and board-certified specialists.
The Rehab Aide works under the direct supervision of therapists and/or therapy assistants, and the key responsibilities include:
• Preparing patients and equipment for treatment
• Overseeing general exercises that do not require skilled therapy
• Maintaining/restocking supplies for the department
• Cleaning and organization of treatment areas
• Assisting therapists and assistants with patient care, including but not limited to, positioning, toileting, application of splints and casts etc.
• Acting as an extension of the therapist by providing hands-on assistance during therapeutic activities
• Assisting with additional tasks/duties as instructed by the therapist, assistant or manager

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and safety guidelines. CNA certification or Rehabilitation Aide training preferred, but not required.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Three to six months on the job training are required to become familiar with various procedures, techniques and safety precautions.
