Pay range for this position is $31.67 - $47.47/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Flex Pay: This position also includes a 10% hourly differential
This position provides nursing coverage across multiple pediatric specialty areas and clinic locations based on operational and patient care needs.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, dependable, and collaborative nurse who enjoys working with a variety of pediatric patient populations. This role is essential in maintaining safe staffing levels, supporting clinic operations, and ensuring continuity of care when coverage needs arise.
The Float RN may provide support to a variety of pediatric specialties, which may include:
• Cardiology
• ENT
• Gastroenterology
• Endocrinology
• Nephrology
• Orthopedics
• Pulmonology
• Hematology/Oncology
• Surgery and surgical specialties
• Other pediatric subspecialty clinics as needed

The Float RN may be required to travel to satellite clinics in Moline, Galesburg, Springfield, Bloomington, and Urbana as needed.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: Registered nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licenses/Certifications: IL RN License
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: BSN
• Experience: 6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
• Other requirements/information: Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites
