Our Behavioral Health team provides compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Nurses work closely with interdisciplinary teams to care for patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders. We offer structured scheduling, strong leadership support, and a culture that promotes work-life balance and professional growth.
How you’ll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing intervention.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have an active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Associate degree in nursing required.
Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
