Registered Nurse, Per Diem - Variable, Electrophysiology, Morristown

Job description

Principal Accountabilities:
• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Able to identify cardiac patient needs and responds in a timely manner.
• Downloads device center patient reports, reviews, triages, prepares final report for MD signature.
• Strong organizational skills & previous EPIC & computer skills.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Able to work independently, and as part of a team. Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Preferred:
1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
a. All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Previous experience with cardiac patients & Telemetry. Hospital experience preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification.
