Job description

Under the direction of the RN, assist department in ensuring patient workflow is observed in all phases of care. As part of the surgical care team, provide assistance with equipment, supplies and positioning devices. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient care environment and promote the customer experience
Required:
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English

Preferred:
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• EMT certification and/or nursing assistant certification
• Patient, compassionate nature
• Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses
• Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
