Emergency Room Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department RN to join our team. The Emergency Room RN provides high quality, patient centered care to individuals experiencing acute illness, injury, mental health crises, or trauma while working in a collaborative team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Provide emergency nursing care including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record
• Educate patient and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Work with other interdisciplinary teams

Required Skills and Experience:
• Current NYS nursing licensure, limited permit or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS Required or obtained within 30 days of employment

Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Strong clinical thinking and communication skills.
• Previous critical care experience

Physical Requirements:
• Appreciable physical effort required; lifting, pulling, pushing and moving patients of various size, capabilities and abilities. Some lifting, reaching and stooping. Required to be on feet much of the time. Category I. Tasks that involve exposure to blood and body fluid or tissues.

Location, Travel and Shift Requirements:
• Onsite- 600 Roe Ave, Elmira, NY 14905
• Night shift with weekend and holiday rotation

Pay Range Disclosure:
• Standard Rate of $43.70-$53.20 per hour plus benefits
• Up to $25,000 Sign on Bonus for Qualified RN’s
