Psychiatric ED Supervisor

Job description

• JOB SUMMARY
• This role provides direct supervision, performance reviews, training and developing staff skills required for assessment, communication, and discharge planning for psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department. The role works in collaboration with the Department Director to implement and monitor quality initiatives for the Psychiatric area of the Emergency Department. The role will perform in a Psychiatric screening capacity as needed.
• JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experience:
• 5 years of experience administering crisis assessments in Behavioral Health care or similar setting.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Education:
• Master's degree in social work, counseling or psychology required
• Licensure & Certifications:
• LICLM - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Clinician required.

• High level of expertise in all aspects of the Psychiatric ED screening process Strong interpersonal skills and works effectively with people at all levels within the organization Superior problem-solving skills
