Purpose: CMCF is seeking a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist to contract with or work part-time with our clinical care team. In this role, you will analyze, interpret, and report on diagnostic medical images to evaluate patient health, identify conditions, and support clinical decision-making across departments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Image Interpretation: Review and interpret X-rays, and ultrasounds, with a focus on obstetric ultrasounds.
• Clinical Reporting: Generate detailed, accurate diagnostic reports for referring physicians within established turnaround times.
• Interdisciplinary Consultation: Collaborate with primary care doctors, surgeons, and specialists to determine appropriate imaging modalities and discuss critical findings.

Qualifications:
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Alabama Medical License.
• Certification: Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
• Residency: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency program.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Enterprise PACS, RIS, and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
