• JOB SUMMARY
• · Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Pharmacist, and in compliance with all applicable departmental and hospital policies, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements, prepares medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients of the North Adams Regional Hospital, its clinics, and all eligible employees. Performs all other responsibilities that do not require a registered pharmacist to perform. Delivery to patient bedside or the clinic, may also deliver to residencies in Berkshire County.
• JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experience:
• Minimum 12 month full-time. (Minimum 6 months as a Nationally Certified technician).
• Education:
• High School graduate or high school equivalency certificate is required.
• Technician training program preferred with National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Must be fully trained and proficient in all functions of the Pharmacy Technician job.
• Documentation of this achievement demonstrated through competency certification and the Department level.
• Licensure & Certifications:
• PHMTRG – Registered MA Pharmacy Tech required.
• PHTECC – Cert Pharm Tech PTCB/NHA required.

• Must be able to work independently with limited (although directly under the Supervising Pharmacist is required
