Pharmacist

Job description

Dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receipt of orders from medical staff; verifies and prepares medication orders; evaluates medical profiles; performs various inventory control responsibilities, coordinates and oversees daily technician duties and performs other related duties as needed. Displays knowledge and good judgment to assure quality Pharmaceutical care. Maintains all records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Graduate of a School of Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
• Experience preferred
• Current licensure in the State of Missouri in good standing, or ability to obtain required
• Must have touch typing and good mathematical skills
• A good sense of judgment is mandatory
• Interpersonal skills conducive to positive patient and public relations
