Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

• ☀️ Shift: Days
• 🕒 Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 💼 Status: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
• 📅 Weekend Requirement: The hospital operates 24/7, and weekend availability is required. Team members are expected to be available for four Saturday or Sunday shifts during each four-week scheduling period , which generally translates to every-other-weekend availability
• 🤝 Role Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment

A typical day:
This is an acute patient care position. You would be responsible for maintaining safety, taking vital signs and blood glucose levels, supportive collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues, and activities of daily living to support health recovery, on a patient care unit under the direction of a registered nurse, charge nurse, and nurse manager.
Qualifications
🎓 Education
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-high-school specialized training preferred

📋 Licensure & Certification
• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• BLS required
