Nurse Manager, Emergency Room

As the Nurse Manager, you will partner with the Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for Emergency Department services, ensuring effective patient care delivery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Your leadership will help shape the patient experience, strengthen team performance, and drive clinical excellence. Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and Inspire: Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to nursing and clinical staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Drive Clinical Excellence: Promote safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Optimize Operations: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and departmental resources to support efficient Emergency Department operations and appropriate patient care coverage.
• Champion Patient Safety: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that enhance quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and overall departmental performance.
• Manage Resources: Demonstrate fiscal accountability through effective resource utilization, productivity management, and operational planning.
• Build a Strong Team: Support employee engagement, professional development, performance management, and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate Across the Organization: Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to advance organizational priorities and improve patient care delivery.

Salary Range:
$95,000.00 - $140,000.00
Managing unit's resources, including staffing, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality patient care and fiscal responsibility.
• RN, CT license or license eligible.
• BSN or BS degree in related field required.
• At least five(5) years experience in acute care nursing.
• Demonstrated leadership activities required.
• Current managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to communicate among all levels of the organization essential.
