Job description
Position Title: Nursing Assistant
Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Nursing Assistant to join our fast-paced patient care team. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who is committed to providing excellent patient care while supporting nursing staff in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality healthcare services.
Essential Responsibilities
• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs.
• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist nurses with patient care procedures and treatments as directed.
• Answer patient call bells promptly and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
• Answer and appropriately direct telephone calls.
• Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Assist with patient transportation, transfers, and positioning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
• Support teamwork and collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards.
