Job description
Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

MRI
This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional.
Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
MRI Technologist experience preferred.
License or Certifications:
ARRT certified in Radiography or NMTCB
ARRT certified in MRI within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees.
Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).
BLS certification required within 30 days.
