Position Overview
Pay range: $21.80 - $35.45 / hour
Sign-on bonus: $10,000 new hire sign-on bonus may be available (full-time only)
Shifts: full-time PM (three 12-hour shifts)
Schedules: 6:30 p.m.-7 a.m.

Job Highlights
The anesthesia laboratory supports surgical teams across multiple integrated service areas by providing STAT testing to directly support high-acuity surgeries, including transplant and cardiac procedures. You’ll perform cell salvage, autologous blood transfusions, and manage critical surgical support equipment. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work in both laboratory and operating room environments, an ideal role and great fit for someone looking for unique, hands-on perioperative laboratory experience.
Job Description
To perform, check accuracy and report results of moderately complex laboratory procedures on body fluids. To assemble, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance and quality control checks on anesthesia laboratory equipment. To assist during procedures and operate and monitor equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Students in a related associate's degree program must obtain degree within ninety (90) days from date of hire to classification. Must be certified as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) within thirteen (13) months of hire date.
