Job Description
To plan, direct, administer and evaluate programs of therapy as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient s needs. To maintain records and assist with program development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or a related field required. Working experience with Facility Dog Program in a therapy setting preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified or eligible to be certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) required.
