Shift Detail: Monday-Friday 8-4:30 no weekends, no holidays follows per diem policy for minimum hours worked requirement

Job Summary:
Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The Medical Assistant experiences continued training of all aspects of the Medical Assistant role.
PCTs/CNAs are encouraged to apply!!!!!
Qualifications
• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• An active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience as outlined below a plus.
• At least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space).
• Licensure, Certification, Registration
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• All required credentials to be maintained throughout employment.
• Language Skills
• Must be able to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information in English.
• Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Ability to read and understand medical terminology
• Basic computer skills

• Demonstrated attention to detail in all aspects of work

• Flexibility to respond to changes in work schedules as necessary or as requested
• Relevant experience or MA externship in a busy medical office. EPIC EMR experience.
