• POSITION SUMMARY
• Position Summary:
• Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), the licensed practical nurse (LPN) provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Education
• Graduate of a school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
• Minimum Experience
• Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
• Required Registration/License/Certification
• Current Kansas LPN licensure
• Intravenous (IV) certification
• Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
