Overview
The IT Sr Software Support Engineer participates in analysis, program design, coding, QA, documentation, software support and other programming and/or analysis tasks needed to produce reports and interfaces and support team's systems. Demonstrates technical leadership and ability to function as Project Leader.

Responsibilities
• Supports both in house written software and purchased external written packages.
• The team is an integral part of testing, implementing and supporting new modules as well as major yearly upgrades and other updates.
• Codes, implements, integrates and documents all installed software upgrades and module installs. QA is documented and available for IT management team and user departments to study.
• QA is part of every project plan for both in house written programs and purchased packages or modules.
• Provides technical information to IT management for planning, decision making and implementing solutions as needed for departmental issues or needs.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $40.28per hour - $69.28per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
