Position Overview
• Department : Respiratory
• Schedule : 6:30am to 7:00pm as needed including weekends
• Work Location : UAB St Vincent's Birmingham

Job Description
Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.
• Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
• Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.

Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:
• High school diploma equivalency AND Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
