Facility: Brunswick Endoscopy Center - 13 Medical Campus Drive Supply, North Carolina 28462 | Location: Supply, NC | Position Type: Part-Time | Work Schedule: 7am start time - 2 days a week. Typical end time by 5pm.
What You'll Do
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient patient care and workflow.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopic equipment according to infection prevention and regulatory standards.
• Perform leak testing, high-level disinfection, and proper storage of endoscopes.
What We're Looking For
• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: Two years endoscopy experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Endoscopy Technician Certification, preferred. Endoscopy Technician Certification within one year of hire, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient's age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology.
