EEG Tech (Electroencephalogram Technician) Responsibilities & Duties
• Conduct EEGs to measure brain activity and diagnose conditions such as epilepsy
• Prepare patients for EEG procedures, including securing electrodes to the scalp
• Analyze EEG data and collaborate with physicians to interpret results and inform patient care
• Maintain patient records and EEG equipment to ensure accurate and effective patient care
• Provide patient education and support throughout the EEG procedure
• Stay current with new EEG technologies and techniques to continually improve patient outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of EEG Tech experience is preferred.
• Current certification as an EEG Technician is preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of EEG equipment and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work requires the ability to communicate orally.
• Work requires ability to reach and grasp objects as well as manual dexterity.
• Work requires the ability to enter words and data into a computer or similar device.
