Job description
The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Medical Oncologist with expertise in early-phase drug development and a clinical focus in sarcoma. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in advancing first-in-human and signal-seeking trials, next-generation immunotherapies, and emerging cellular therapy approaches for solid tumors—leveraging Mayo Clinic Florida’s rapidly expanding early therapeutics and translational immuno-oncology programs.

The role includes teaching Hematology/Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students. With access to a robust Phase I unit, the Phase II Consortium, and national cooperative group studies, this position offers exceptional opportunities to shape novel therapy pipelines and build a high-impact academic career and mentoring the next generation of clinical investigators.
Mayo Clinic Florida includes over 740 faculty physicians and 260 residents and fellows, serving a large national and international patient base. Competitive salary and benefits are provided, commensurate with experience.
Board-certification or board-eligibility in Medical Oncology is required. Must be eligible for state of Florida licensure.
