Sales Physician Relations Manager
Position Summary
The Sales Physician Relations Manager serves as a key liaison between Orlando Health and referring physician practices throughout a designated territory.
This role is responsible for driving new patient volume into the organization by building strong relationships with providers, practice administrators, and office staff while promoting Orlando Health's imaging, ancillary, and specialty services.
The Sales Physician Relations Manager develops and executes strategic outreach plans, analyzes referral trends, resolves service concerns, and identifies opportunities to grow Orlando Health's market presence.
Territory & Work Environment
This is a hybrid position with onsite visits/travel throughout West Orange County and the Dr. Phillips market.

Candidates should be comfortable spending the majority of their time in the field building relationships and supporting referring practices.
What a Day Looks Like
This is a highly autonomous, relationship-driven role focused on increasing patient referrals and new patient volumes across the region. The Physician Relations Manager typically:
• Conducts 8-10 in-person visits daily with physician offices and healthcare stakeholders.
• Builds relationships with physicians, practice managers, and office staff to increase referrals to Orlando Health.
• Promotes imaging services, which account for approximately 75% of the territory focus, along with ancillary and specialty services.
• Analyzes referral patterns, claims data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Meets with stakeholders to understand challenges, resolve service concerns, and improve the referral experience.
• Partners with leaders across Orlando Health facilities and service lines to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Participates in monthly leadership meetings and provides market intelligence, referral trends, and performance updates.
• Utilizes Salesforce, claims data tools, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Copilot to create presentations and communicate insights.
• Reviews daily imaging and referral reports to monitor performance and prioritize outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with employed, network, and independent referring providers.
• Create and execute territory plans designed to increase patient referrals and market share.
• Communicate Orlando Health's clinical capabilities, specialty programs, imaging services, and competitive advantages.
• Act as the primary liaison between referring providers and Orlando Health service lines.
• Identify barriers impacting referrals and collaborate with operational leaders to implement solutions.
• Analyze referral data and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate activity and account information within Salesforce and other physician relationship management tools.
• Support community outreach initiatives, educational events, and physician engagement activities.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for expansion and growth within the territory.

Healthcare imaging experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong relationship-building and business development abilities.
Education/Training
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience
• Three (3) years of experience in the healthcare industry or related area. Sales/marketing specific background with focus on consultative selling.
• A master's degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration or related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of required experience.
• Four (4) years of experience in the healthcare industry or related area may substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement.
