Make a Difference This role is part of a team of clinical staff dedicated to implementing innovative care models aimedat enhancing patient care and provider relations. Responsible for promoting efficiency, increasing access, and improving outcomeswithin the practice through activities such as pre-visit planning, centralized form completion (e.g., FMLA forms). Exceptional Skills and Qualifications The team manages the entire FMLA forms process electronically through Epic. This position will be supporting the forms processing work for the FMLA teams. Work includes updating theCandidates should be comfortable using various technology platforms.FMLA and disability forms experience is strongly preferred and would be a significant plus, but it is not required. Candidates must be able to work independently, communicate comfortably with patients by phone, and spend the full shift working at a computer. Strong computer skills, comfort troubleshooting technology or IT issues, Epic experience, and prior remote healthcare experience are also valuable.
• Diploma from a Medical Assistant program required
• Medical Assistant Certification/Registration is required. Qualifying certifications/registrations: CMA (AAMA), NCMA (NCCT), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), and NRCMA (NAHP) *
