$77.02 - $119.38 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

General Summary:
• The Assistant Vice President, Food and Nutrition Services is responsible for programmatic operations across the Endeavor Health enterprise, including, but not limited to, all acute care facilities. This leader standardizes patient meal service across the organization, oversees food safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with clinical teams on clinical nutrition services. The role exists to ensure every Endeavor patient receives safe, high-quality, and dignified food and nutrition services — while driving system-wide consistency and optimization

What you will do:
• Standardize food service operating procedures, meal production systems, and service delivery across sites
• Lead food safety and regulatory compliance — CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission, state and local health codes, and HACCP — and sustain a system-wide food safety culture covering temperature monitoring, sanitation, and allergen management
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to ensure evidence-based clinical nutrition services and outcomes
• Lead patient meal service programs that prioritize dignity, choice, timeliness, and cultural sensitivity; monitor patient satisfaction data and lead service-recovery and continuous-improvement initiatives
• Oversee retail food operations — cafeterias, coffee, vending, and catering — across all facilities, including retail revenue strategy, menu innovation, and customer-service standards
• Develop operating and capital budgets for Food and Nutrition Services across all facilities; implement supply chain, group purchasing, waste-reduction, and labor-efficiency strategies; and monitor financial performance against established budget and operational targets.
• Build and lead inclusive, high-performing leadership teams across food service operations; foster a frontline culture of compassion, quality, and accountability
• Perform full people-leadership responsibilities — selection, development, performance management, and succession planning — for the Food and Nutrition Services organization across Endeavor Health

What you will need:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Service Manager (CFSM) considered is required; ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible management experience in healthcare food service or nutrition services; multi-site or enterprise-level healthcare leadership experience highly preferred.
