Job description

The VP, Hospital Operations will be a key leader within the Hospital Division with a Network wide scope of accountabilities. It will be responsible for the leadership of a comprehensive array of administrative and operational services supporting strategic growth and alignment of Community Health Network’s hospital facilities. This includes effectively carrying out the strategy, oversight, implementation and administration of projects for the hospital division across the Network and at all hospital facilities. Leads the analysis of existing and proposed programs. Works on complex matters where analysis of issues, data, processes and situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and an in-depth industry, technical, and clinical knowledge. Takes the lead on developing productivity standards for the division. The VP leads development of proposals and business cases for new business and program development within the hospitals. It is responsible for the successful execution of professional service agreements (PSA's) and management of those relationships ensuring necessary coverage by independent physicians, groups, and contracted services across the network’s 7 hospitals. This role will assume operational responsibility for key areas of development within the division.
